I've deleted some of the previous posts and I'm working on getting this blog linked to all the other sites I have and get them working together. So, a bit of a learning curve, but I like the challenge. I'm working on a new drawing for a wall mural that I will put on my site and then link to my blog also. I can't wait to get it done to show it off!

Happy New Year!

Cari's Challenge

Here's a birthday card that I finished tonight for Cari's challenge. Thanks for the challenge Cari!! :)
Items used:
brown cs - Creative Memories Neutrals pack
cream paper - ScrapPad
pink paper - Great American Paper Co
sticker - Creative Memories
ribbon - American Crafts - Hobby Lobby
rub-on - DCWV
inks - Memories - baby pink & moss green
jewels - plastic hot pink - unk
buckle - pearl colored shell - unk
glue - UHU Stic

This is the first time I've used the UHU Glue Stic and I'm very impressed with it! I'm slightly leary still if it has staying power because my experience with glue sticks is that they tend to dry out and my paper project eventually just falls apart. So, I will let you know if this stands the test of time. But, for finishing this project, using this glue stic was a pleasure! It's colored purple so you can see where it goes on. It goes on easy without clumping and sticks paper to paper very nicely. It didn't curl the paper and wasn't messy at all. Thanks to UHU for the free sample to try their product! I can't wait to try it out on other projects!

Worthy is the Lamb

I had a dream one night where I saw the top of the cross and an outline of His body on the cross. I got up and started drawing it so I wouldn't forget it.

It's done in pencil, black Zig Pigma pens and colored pencil.
